Hugh is a designated person for risk & liquidity management within MPMF Fund Management across a range of diverse hedge fund and alternative fund strategies. He has extensive experience in asset management having previously worked in various roles for a number of global asset management firms.
Hugh joined PwC in Dublin in 2007 where he gained extensive experience of international financial reporting, control environments and corporate governance having worked on a range of diverse global funds and industry corporations. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC in 2010 and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland in 2010. Hugh then joined with PwC in Manhattan, New York where he gained further invaluable experience. Following his time with PwC, Hugh moved into asset management in 2012 initially as part of hermes fund managers in London before moving into the Investments Division of The Wellcome Trust. Hugh later joined with Globalreach Securities in Dublin in 2013 as an investment analyst within their asset management division. Hugh successfully completed the final Chartered Financial Analyst examinations in 2013.
