Michelle is responsible for the management of FATCA related services for fund clients including coordinating the implementation of process change in relation to the opening of new investor accounts under FATCA, the remediation of existing accounts to new FATCA standards and coordinating reporting by fund clients as required under FATCA.
Michelle joined MaplesFS in 2013. She was previously Head of Banking and Custody at Credit Suisse AG, Cayman Islands where she was responsible for the provision of banking and custody services to Prime Fund Services clients in the hedge fund industry. Prior to that, Michelle was Head of Fund Accounting at Fortis Prime Fund Solutions in the British Virgin Islands. From 1999 to 2007, Michelle held a managerial position at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Wellington, New Zealand. Michelle began her career as an accountant at Hunter Brocklebank Dey Chartered Accountants, Dunedin, and an accountant, then manager with Rutherfords Chartered Accountants, Palmerston North, New Zealand.
